His and Hers: Childhood aspirations

His and Hers is a weekly discussion of a question or topic relating to marriage. On Friday, my wife and I each write our thoughts on the week's topic. I invite others to do the same with their spouses as an exercise in celebrating marriage. This week's question is:

When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

Mrs. Happy's response

I wanted to be a paleontologist. I thought the coolest thing in the world would be to dig for bones, clean them with a little brush, and put them all together the way they were in a museum. I also liked wanting to be something that no one could spell.

Curt's response

I was always a really shy, quiet kid, but I loved performing in front of people. What I wanted more than anything was to be a movie star. I'd still like to do that, if only I had more acting talent.
