His and Hers: Praying together
His and Hers is a weekly discussion of a question or topic relating to marriage. On Friday, my wife and I each write our thoughts on the week's topic. I invite others to do the same with their spouses as an exercise in celebrating marriage.
Earlier this evening, my wife and I had a pretty intense conversation. It was difficult and painful, but it resulted in what might be a real breakthrough in our marriage. I love my wife and the relationship we have, but as long as we're human we'll be imperfect. And as long as we're imperfect, we will need to grow and improve and adapt if we expect to keep our marriage strong. So instead of a question, this week's His and Hers is an assignment:
Identify your greatest flaw, share it with your spouse, and pray about it together.
