His and Hers: A guy thing
His and Hers is a weekly discussion of a question or topic relating to marriage. On Friday, my wife and I each write our thoughts on the week's topic. I invite others to do the same with their spouses as an exercise in celebrating marriage. This week's question is:
When you watch TV with your spouse, do you like to operate the remote or let your spouse hold it?

Curt almost always controls the remote. That's fine with me, except that he tends to change channels during commercials and come back to our show too late. We miss a lot of stuff that way.
Curt's response
I almost always control the remote. If she's holding it, she just sits through the commercials without changing the channel or even turning down the volume. I hate commercials.
